WJM Associates offers learning-based, group workshops that are specifically tailored to your organization’s unique culture and highest priority talent development goals.
These participative half- or whole-day sessions are facilitated by subject matter experts and thought leaders from WJM’s Faculty and are customized to develop the leadership capabilities aligned with your company’s specific business challenges. The workshops are designed to fully integrate into existing talent development platforms or to be delivered as a component of a coordinated group development program such as WJM’s Leadership Discovery Process™.
These sessions are relevant and applicable to real work challenges, highly interactive and led by experienced WJM Faculty with dynamic delivery. Providing developmental learning in a group setting is not only cost-effective, but also helps build a “community of practice” among the company’s current or high-potential leaders.
After initial planning sessions with the client organization, WJM will recommend Faculty members best suited to design and deliver the particular program. Custom agenda templates, presentation materials, handouts, and Participant and Facilitator guide books are developed as well. Train-the-trainer support is available for all offerings.

Creating High Performance Teams
This two-day workshop helps teams to clarify and execute their “unique and compelling” purpose. Designed for new teams or those that need to re-group and re-engage.
- Clarify individual roles, accountabilities, interdependencies and metrics for the team’s performance.
- Learn about the “essentials” and “enablers” of high performance teams through interactive exercises.
- Identify opportunities and barriers to performance, as well as new behaviors required for collaboration and managing conflict.
Result: Teams identify high value projects and collaborate on action plans to move forward. Assessment tools provide the team with diagnostics of their own performance.
New Manager’s Workshop
This one-day workshop provides new managers with the tools and skills needed to transition from an individual contributor to a successful manager.
- Learn about the key behaviors associated with stepping into a management role.
- Learn to balance “task” behaviors with “relationship” behaviors.
- Practice effective communication to build relationships, get work done through others, and inform and influence a team.

This one-day workshop explores the underlying forces that produce change, and helps participants understand the impact that organizational change has on people.

This one-day workshop teaches executives how to systematically manage their time with clear priorities, focused tools and a repeatable process for improving their own productivity.
